Thump! Thump! Thump! Ella ran. She hurriedly ran towards the foyer. Her friend, Lily, had broke her leg last weekend. Ella decided to meet Joyce at the foyer to help Lily. They ran as fast roadrunners to the foyer.

When they just arrived, they aw a silver car coming to sight. It was Lily’s family car! They can see Lily at the back seat waving at them. Lily’s mother helped Lily out of the car. Joyce carried Lily’s bag while Ella and Lily’s mother helped Lily to walk in to the school. Lily mother bid farewell and left.

“I guess it will be up to us to take care of Lily!” Joyce exclaimed while he pulled Lily’s chair and with Ella helping Lily to her seat. Lily was so grateful that she cried. “Thank you! You two are my true friends. Thank you so much for your helps!” “You’re welcome! Let’s meet again during recess!” Ella suggested. All of them agreed. As Ella and Joyce were turning to go back to their seats, someone stopped them. It was their Form Teacher. “Thank you, Ella and Joyce. I will give both of you a sweet each!” said their Form Teacher, Madam Lum.

They nodded and went back to their seats, feeling as proud as a lion.
